Prototyping

When crafting a solution, prototyping is a way to test the various features of an idea to align group understanding. Through prototyping, groups can test various features of a potential solution. It creates a low-stakes, tangible space to test features and spark deep discussion.

Prototyping doesn't require high-tech tools. These sessions can utilize everyday materials such as Legos, cardboard, markers, or clay.

At the conclusion of the meet, students will receive a post-meet survey to reflect on the process and think about how their work changed through collaboration. Surveys are both reflective exercises and an area of opportunity for improvement for the program. We have made these surveys mandatory.
