Mini-Internship Program
Participate in a professional internship. No experience required.
Program Overview
This program helps students gain formal, paid work experience and develop professional skills that strengthen their resumes and prepare them for future careers.
Applications for Fall 2026 open August 20th, and close September 6th.

This program is intended for students with minimal professional
experience.

$250 compensation upon program completion
How are interns selected?
Formal experience is not required. We are looking for candidates who are eager to grow their professional skills and portfolio, and who have a genuine passion for this program.

Confirm Eligibility
Applicants must be current Exploratory students who have not participated in the program previously, and who can reliably commute to the Tempe campus.

Zoom Interview
Selected applicants are invited to a Zoom interview, where they receive real-time feedback on their resume and interviewing skills.
PrepareIf selected for the program, interns are thoughtfully matched with a Working Learner Mentor and a University College project based on their interests and goals. Selection is based on genuine interest and enthusiasm, alignment with program goals, preparedness, communication skills, availability, and project fit. We encourage all Exploratory students to apply!

- Use ASU Career Service’s Resume Template (or another similar template).
- Clearly and enthusiastically tell us about why you’re interested in participating in the Mini-Internship Program. We want to know more about you!
- Check all grammar and spelling in your resume and letter of interest. Use professional language.
- Diligently check your ASU email for updates and your application status.
