Student Success Center
The Student Success Center provides personalized peer coaching for ASU students to help them thrive academically and personally. Peer Coaches, trained to support diverse student needs, offer individualized guidance through courses like ASU101, LEAD, Explore, and UNI220 in collaboration with faculty.
Peer coaching is tailored and customized to individual interests, strengths and needs.
- Our peer coaches are students themselves at ASU who understand the common concerns and issues many students face.
- Coaching is provided in a variety of ways including in classes such as LEAD, Explore and UNI220 courses with a strong partnership with faculty members.
- Peer coaches complete rigorous trainings to support their peers and provide individualized coaching for students of all backgrounds.
What we do
Connector
Connect students to relevant resources, opportunities, and information for their success.
Cheerleader
Encourage and motivate students, and they keep them accountable to their goals.
Catalyst
Spur success by working with students to set and achieve meaningful goals, equipping them with tools and skills, and role modeling success.
Coaches uplift students and support their overall wellness based on the 8 dimensions of the wellness framework.
The goal of coaching is to support students in navigating campus life while they’re in college and beyond to gain skills and knowledge to lead a fulfilling life as an individual.
