Achievement Support Accelerator Program

School’s tough. Let’s figure it out together. And get paid!

If you’re on Academic Warning or Academic Probation, well, school might be a bit tough at the moment.

It can be a (painful) bump in the road, sure, but nothing show-stopping. Like a ‘90s business graph your journey will have its ups and downs.

What Direction Will You Go Next?

You aim to go up, and we support this goal. To prove our commitment, we're offering $1,000 through our program ASAP.

(ASAP’s the name of our program. Achievement Support Accelerator Program)

“What will ASAP do for me?”

Well, we’re hoping we’ll be able to help you get back into good academic standing (a GPA higher than 2.0, and get those annoying flags off of your account).

How will we do that?

  1. Figure out what happened. There are any number of reasons why your academics took a hit. We want to help you figure out those reasons.
  2. Take UNI 220 (Mindset Connections). And pass it with at least a C.
  3. Retake a course
    • Retake any one of the courses that offer Supplemental Instruction (Click to see Spring 2025 SI Schedule)
    • Are you retaking an English (ENG 101, 102, 105, 107, 108) or Math (MAT 117, 142, 170, 210, 211) class?
      • Attend at least 8 study table sessions this Spring. Study Table Sessions are an hour per week where you will dedicate time to studying and working on homework. Study Table Tutors will be available to answer questions. You may also attend Tutoring Center appointments or Writing Center sessions to meet the requirement while focusing on the support that works best for you.
  4. Meet with a Peer Coach at least 3 times this Spring. Peer coaches listen, connect you to resources, gain a sense of belonging, and break down barriers to success. Don’t worry: they’re the opposite of judgy!
  5. Meet with your academic advisor. They’re here to help.

“Whew, that was a lot. But I’m in! How do I get started?”
