Success Courses is proud to offer study abroad opportunities to all ASU students. In line with our mission, we seek to support academic and life skill growth through these unique programs around the world.
LEADers in Brazil: Practicing Cultural Engagement and Leadership Development will be traveling to São Paulo, Brazil in May. Students will have the opportunity to use co-creation to learn from Brazilian NGOs about solving a problem the students have identified. Students are given the opportunity to work with Brazilian leaders on these challenges while gaining cultural insight to Brazilian history, culture, and creative/innovative skills. This program is only open to students who have participated in The LEAD Program.
In June of 2020 we’ll be heading to Oslo, Norway to study intercultural conflict at the Nobel Institute and Nobel Peace Museum. Be a part of this historic opportunity for ASU students and use your skills and knowledge to truly make the world a better place!
Students will travel to Chiang Mai, Thailand for 10 days during Winter Break to study a variety of mindfulness practices and experience the unique and mindful Thai culture. Students will be able to better understand themselves, multiple perspectives, and a variety of world views. A variety of mindful and cultural activities will give students the chance to live as a Buddhist monk, visit a temple in the forest, and create their own Thai feast.
