The Pitchfork Pantry is a student-run food pantry that serves ALL ASU students. The Pitchfork Pantry serves to fight food insecurity and promote well-being, sustainability and food recovery. We provide packages containing a variety of non-perishable foods and toiletries.
All current ASU students are eligible to receive assistance. Students must sign up for a package through the below button every time they visit either our Downtown or Tempe locations (weekend pop-up markets). Any ASU student is able to receive food from either location, regardless of the campus at which the student regularly attends.
Visiting a pantry? Make sure to fill out our form before you visit!
For the Fall 2020 semester, we will be hosting drive-through pop-ups the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month, starting September 12th, 2020 and ending December 5th, 2020. Students must fill out this form every time they visit.
Current ASU students can pick up a prepared package of non-perishable foods and toiletry items for free.

If any ASU student would like to volunteer with us, they can sign up at asu.volunteermatch.org by searching “Pitchfork Pantry” in the volunteer opportunities search. We also encourage students to join our organization on SunDevilSync, since that is how we regularly communicate with our volunteers.
Donations may include brown rice, whole-wheat pasta, canned chicken, other canned meats, canned fruits, hygiene items (dish soap, bath soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, female hygienic products, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.), peanut butter, canned soups, oatmeal, any noodles, mac and cheese, canned vegetables, rice, quinoa, cereal cups, other breakfast items, and other items.
Let us know if you have any questions about what can and cannot be accepted!
Donations can be dropped off at our Downtown pantry during our open hours or feel free to contact someone who is part of our leadership team to coordinate a drop-off at another location.
