General Studies Information:
All undergraduate students must complete a minimum of 35 semester hours of approved General Studies courses. Note that some colleges, departments, or majors have distribution or other requirements which may influence students’ course selections. Check with an advisor before selecting courses to fulfill the General Studies requirement.
Running a DARS Report:
DARS (Degree Audit Reporting System) is an automated record, which matches courses a student has completed and is currently enrolled with the requirements of a particular academic degree program. A student in the Exploratory Social and Behavioral Science major track, for example, would be able to get a report showing how completed course work from ASU or transfer institutions would apply toward the critical requirements for this degree program. Further, it allows exploratory majors to match their courses towards the ASU General Studies curriculum, as well as to prospective major options.
Calculate Your GPA (Grade Point Average):
Students may use this GPA calculator to assist in predicting what their semester grade point average will become. Students can also use this calculator to determine how current prospective grades will affect their overall cumulative ASU grade point average.
